On your private test tracks, obviously ;)

Genuine GPS or similar timed figures only please, we all know how speedos over read and I've owned enough 8v GTI's to know that they don't do 135mph unless seriously toyed with:p

I'll start off with a pretty lame GPS timed 123mph @ 4,400 rpm, ran out of road before I could hit the 5.5k limiter [:$]

EDIT: Forgot to add, that was in my Bora TDI

Not GPS but i'll add my figures anyways

My 328sport - indicated 155, it was flat out probably 145 i reckon

Skyline R32 - 165 indicated was a lot left in that, so bloody noisy

    911 carrera 4 - 140 indicated

Flat out in my old 8v was indicated 130 but doubt that very much

All on my private road of course

I'm not posh enuff to own a GPS device and now that I own an HDi I have no need to know how slow I'm travelling. Fastest un-gps measured was an indicated 135 in my valver, standard wheels etc so no idea how much it was over reading by. Felt damned quick as I did it over a local bridge so harsh cross winds made the already stupid driving even more unhinging

My fastest with me driving was a non GPS 140mph indicated in a BMW 540i.

Fastest as a passenger was again indicated 170 in a Diablo.

Yeah, pretty sure the groundspeed readout is GPS - derived. It's an instantaneous readout too...
