They can be real rubbish though. I tried the rubbish, then bought a Dremel.

Dremel are owned by Bosch, hence you cannot go wrong (well, IMO).

although tbh dremels arnt that good, ive burnt out 2 of them just cutting out 3mm perspex to make models with for uni. but as theyre owned by bosch you get bosch customer service so they replace them for free :)

The minicraft/Proxxon tools are also great, but not much cheaper than a dremel tho.

Machine mart do a nice one for about 30 and you get an attachment kind of like a speedo cable with a pencil grip chuck on it great for really fidly bits. Managed to do 2 cylinder heads with my first one but i would not use them for extended periods as once they get really hot thats when they tend to break. Hope this helps.

    If you say so.

Many here would have worded it: "But as theyre owned by Bosch, as Chris mentioned, you get bosch customer service so they replace them for free2"

Just out of courtesy of course.

Dremels are brilliant. Easy to use. Dont bother buying anything cheaper. You can always find great deals for a dremel

B&Q have a deal on. You get a dremel, a flex shaft and lots of other stuff for 40! Reduced from 50. The flex shaft is over 30 normally.
