    ha ha what wheels you going for with it as that could make a big difference.... and I take it it's small bumper as big bumper would look pants in that brown??

    lol @ sweetcorn yellow nah mate getting bits of yellow vinyl for that [8D] gunna pva some toilet roll to it aswell

    yea small bumpers havent got the wheels yet but want something wide or might go with the borbets off my daily but then my daily would look ghey lol

    Ok lets try and be more constructive. If it is going to be brown I would go small bumper for sure and you need some shiny wheels to really compliment the colour.

    I still think it would look good if you did it right.

    yea its going small bumper that had been decided before i chose the colour lol i want some like 13s 14s? but really wide lol itll look good... just gotta get round to doing it lol

    is it a gti? can you get 13's on a golf without changing the brakes? some deep dish BBS maybe? or the deep dished ATS cups would look pretty sweet.

    Or you could polish something up?

    how about? painting it a normal colour so you can have proper sized wheels, then fit an ABF or bigger and some decent brakes??

    just me?....... sorry not into this wheel whoring, 13" wheel malarky [:$]

    looking cool is ok, driving like you stole it is much more fun though imo

    you can get 13s on a 8v gti yea and i used to be an electro plater so am pretty nifty at the old polishing lark lol tempted by some ats classics saw a set on german ebay that were 10 inch wide.... bit overkill tho lol

    lol im going to put a vr6 init and whats the problem with driving like you stole it with small brakes? if anything it helps youll go faster as you wont be able to break enough lol

    I agree my golf will be making her debut in a set of G60 steelies - nice and simple.

    i really do hope your joking?? your contemplating building a mk2 vr and putting 13's on with standard 156 8v brakes?? by god, You will be going quick, straight into the first hedge row you see!!!! 15" and 288's as a minimum if your going VR.....

    15's with a deep dish won't look big anyway so will go ok with the brown theme
