right i have heard you all go on about who you would pull over for if they came up behind you but the question is who has the quickest car?
i dont mean who has the most power i mean who can go faster than everyone else?
i had my car to 163MPH today and i still aint pushed it to its limits as the engine aint worn in yet.
and i only want to know about VW cars as someone could come on and say they where driving a F1 car and that aint fair!
    SO!
    who is it then?
WHO CAN GO THE FASTEST??????????/ ;)

    out of interest...

what gearbox are you running on your jetta? did you fit the engine? and what tyre sizes are you running?

and to the best of my knowledge, if we are talking VWs, Nutter4x4's car would take some beating - 170+

or if we are talking all cars that post on this forum, there can be only one

Hot Rod - the only guy on this forum (AFAIK) with a proven 200+mph car.

Revokev posts on here and they run an s4 that is close to 200mph, but fastest mk2 is probably Nutters, although I dont know what gearing VR6T runs as i imagine that is fairly speedy. And TTs car is geared for 238mph.....

So spill the beans on this jetta, what spec is it

why do you want more downforce? surely you mean less drag and possibly less lift?

My old heap is not to speedy as it only running a 3.69 diff if i remember right, 215x40 16 gives the same rolling radius as the standard 205x50 15's so i am sure that at 7000 rpm it works out somthing like a true 156mph. I does pull to the rev limiter in 6th quite easily... ;)

I usually don't spend to much time looking at the speedo flat in 6th, the A/F ratio is top priority...
