ive just bought a Brilliant Blue Mettalic one and I have a black sunroof lining and a normal CL roofling. As they were all originally Syncro CL's, is it supposed to have a CL roofling?

Also mine was imported in 1996 which is pretty early on in its life. Does anyone remember when theirs were imported?

I do like these, very chunky-looking. Not cheap though, even here and there are a few around. What engine is yours Bones?

its quite simple, a golf country is a golf, a vw. And he posted in Aud/seat/skoda section. Hence it was moved

Cheers for that RIP, I did not notice this as I had VAG blinkers on, and not just V blinkers.

saw one at the vw show in bracknell - it was immaculate. Love the wheels on them, and how unusual they are. Everyone i have seen has been near on 8k though

mine is in pretty good nick but does have a handful of bumps and bruises. The rear steps are the worst and the remain of the drivers seat leaves a lot to be desired. Ive always wanted one even before I knew they existed. A friend drew me something years ago that resembled a Country, but he based it on a Mk1. I was a Gamekeeper then so thought it would be fun to drive one off road. The car did have a TSR lump ihn it but it failed, so im putting a replacement PB in
