    Yes (depending on offset) but will require arch work...

    Thanks for that. :thumbup:

    Would my arches need rolling alot, even without dropping the car?

    Yeah, you`d need to lower it too, then you`ll see where they rub. Roll as necessary.

    So, 17's would be a much better choice i guess? Then lower as needed?

    :)

    Don't want to be a party pooper but I had 17's on mine and went back to 15's as 17's were just wrong. My opinion, if your asking, would be to go 16's max. But I'm an old fart so what would I know?

    I'm an old fart aswell (36)

    It's an option for me for 16's but i just don't like most of the styles i've seen out there.

    If anybody can show me a set of sweet looking 16's then i would seriously consider it.

    Thanks.

    another fan of 16's for the mk3

    tyres aren't that expensive Matt you cheapskate, you can probably get some nice looking borbets or RH's in 7.5x16" to fit your mk3......

    I have 16s on mine...

    Before lowering;

    And after;

    [IMG]

    It`s currently 5mm higher than that, because the rears were catching over bumps. The front right still catches a little, but that`s because the wing needs adjusting having been fitted with a bolt missing at some time... [:s]

    16's are looking good if i can get a good, fairly reasonable suspension kit, adjustable just incase i need to make some changes.

    :thumbup:

    I often wonder why lower models of the Golf have colour coded bumpers etc and the Gti has the plastic crap? Looks cool mate? ;)
