do you have a genuine serial number? The phone number is only an automated deelie anyway.

Why don't you want to phone them?

Seems like the obvious thing to do to me. I can give you a working activation code but it'll make yours a 'pirate' copy.

Assuming you plan on keeping it legal (might as well since you paid for it!) you'll have to phone them I reckon.

It can only be activated on one PC.

Well, if you're gonna install it on 2 computers you might wanna look into downloading the Corporate version of XP, which means no activation :)

Just make sure it is the CORPORATE edition of XP, like I say you don't need to activate it. If it comes with an 'FCKGW' code then its corporate, but you need to get another key if you can as its been blacklisted. Not a problem for me tho...

I have 1 working key which suits me just fine, as I only have 1 computer.

I also have a working crack for any version of XP Pro which bypasses the activation (just in case of emergency ;) ):) :)

Have you tried to install that particular version recently as the changing the key no longer lets you update that version.
