Winter tyres lead to queries over invalidating insurance!!!

what is the speed rating for the tyres of a mk2 golf meant to be from factory?

 

H Rated for an 8v. Not sure about a 16v.

Picked up a set of dunlops on Audi Alloys for the 80 TDI, 160 all in.

 

There is a leafet in our work as they have cottoned on with the market
I'm sure it state that is doesn't alter your insurance, I will have to pick it up

 

yeah a friend in the trade has now told me its been knocked on the head and doesnt matter if you use winter tyres

 

id hold on to my pennies looking at this weather. doesnt seem likely itll snow

Yep last year I had my winter tyres on the Volvo already but not planning to put them on just yet until I know it gets a lot colder and worthwhile

 

It's about 6.C up here and we've had a lot of hail for the past 24 hours and wind chill is makes it feel icy, looks like I'll get use out of my winter tyres after all
