Thought you had some spare wheels ?
I'd recommend getting some steelies as if you hit something you can bash the back straight lol
What tyres can you get ? Buy appropriate cheap wheels ;)

I bought some old A6 wheels for 100 and stuck winters on them  car has 18" but best value tyres where 16" with adjusted profile for correct rolling radius:thumbup:

( best value not cheapest );)

The only spare wheels I have are the seabrings and to get a cheap set of g60 steelies here is like 250 or more :o

Nige, I'm looking at getting 4 new tyres as they can be stored after winter for the next year.

i use pirelli winters last year, awesome in the wet!! never got to try them in the snow. size wise i would use whatever you can get that is about the same rolling radius.

I haven't figured out how to change my location, I wish I was still in Suffolk though

That would cost more money that I don't really need to spend. My sebrings are pretty beat up already so I don't mind if they get more curb rash

185/55 is also factory size if more available, thinner tire helps as it sinks thru the snow easier to solid ground

I keep thinking I should get some based on the last few uber snow storms we got, but then I also think I managed just fine with toyo proxy tyres on and just driving slower!

Cheers, I'll look into both sizes but I think the thinner tyre would be best
