I'm 30, and have 2 policies running - one declares the Mk2 valver, and one the Caddy 1.6d. The caddy policy is 1200, and the valver almost 800. I'm 30, with a bad record (the summons/warrant officer knows me as Patrick, not Mr. xxxx).
Try a couple of quotes at my old postcode, BT20 2SH.

Sounds like you could do with a bit more shopping around, Pagin!

Im 20 with 3 years NC, 3 points, and a non-fault accident claim driving a mk2 gti 16v..... 740 I will try and hagle them down abit before the renewal date though:)

Its amazing how you can haggle with an insurance company like you can a car dealer:lol:

My initial renewal when it came through from Adrian Flux was 775 for the year, but then GSI Insurance beat that with 760. So i called Adrian Flux and told them i had found better, so they said right OK we'll beat that, and so came back with the above 740.

So this morning a called Adrain flux again (a week later) and told them i had another 'more favourable quote' of 712 from GSI again (like hell i did:lol: ), but they brought it, and 5mins of hold music later they came back with a new renewal of 700!!!! hehehee love it!! So i cut my renewal by 75 by just ringing two insurers:thumbup: [:D]
