just to put some water on the ps3 fan boys fire since the ps3 has been on sale the the xbox360 has out sold it nearly 3 times over and Christmas 2009 MS sold half a million xbox's in the UK

and if you want to go down the HDMI rout when i got my ps3 i had to buy an optic audio cable and HDMI cable separately because they didn't come with the ps3 and i had to buy a head set


So PS3 if you like over priced blu ray's and gash internet gaming lack of privet chat and sod all downlands and DLC

Xbox 360 if you are a true gamer and Pay for quality internet gaming and good marketplace content and games that come out when they say they will not 4years late (GT5)

 

Interesting 'facts' there. The Xbox has sold more granted, but 3 times more? i think not.

as said, it's not outsold it 3 to 1, and hell, I bought an xbox 360, lasted 24 hours before it was on ebay though

and the ps network now has playstation plus, a paid service with better online facilities and downloadable content/exclusives which more than rivals the 360 experience, so now the ps3 has everything, and it's by choice

 

im just telling the facts i have a ps3 and and xbox yet i have 3 games for my ps3 and only turn it one when i here there is a GT5 Video out oh and to watch my blu rays

I love the way the PS3 fanboys slated paid for online services with the Xbox, yet they happily pay for it now if it means a better online service.

 

I don't think many people will go for it.
as long as one person you're playing with has it, then upto 4 of you can use the cross game chat feature, apparently.
that still might be free.
I like having the choice of paying though...

 

I have to say from owning both I prefer the PS3. I have had 2 xbox's and both had the red light issues, the reason I brought the PS3 and I have no complaints.

The main benefit apart from blueray and looking more subtle is the operating noise is so much quieter than the xbox.

 

New 360 is near silent apparently.
