I was just looking at the spare inner big bumpermetalwork spare rear lights front nearside bumper bracket and countless other bits and pieces in our garage.

Especially from a scrapyard, it's cheating going to vw heritage etc lol.

so what should any self respecting vdubber be collecting. oh and I've got............:)

4 interiors, 5 engines, nuff trim and lights to do 3+ cars, too many gearboxes, couple of Mk1 shells and skip loads of other Mk1/Mk2 bits.

90 spec arches, side mouldings, jacking point covers, 90spec sill covers (skirts), 90 spec arches or g60's, genuine big bumpers, standard grilles, Hella lights. The list could go on...

Its mainly the trim that would be good to store, as its so hard to come by these days and you have to pay when they do come up!! [8(]

I would store away a SH!7 load of MORALE for that day when all goes Pete Tong and your left at the side of the motorway in the rain [:^(]
But hey thats just how it goes with older cars, one day your sat at the side of the road cursing & ripping your hair out, the next your smilling from ear to ear gunning it down country roads, MK2 golf aint just a car it's a way of life.

My car just doesn't like damp and rain first thing in the morning
