Been a busy year lots of car shows drift events at Lydden Hill Brands Hatch Mk2 is SORN but my Mk4 is going in for a clutch and brake pads tomorrow so perfect excuse to get the old girl on the road while the winter weather is so nice Few pics from Stonor Park back in June Few from Darling Buds Classic Car Show in July In the 80' Section
cheers buddy was getting taxed tomorrow but the main water pipe is split so there goes me driving it this week....
Been a while since i was last on to update this thread Had a bit of work done to the mk2 over the winter and last few months. Around Christmas the headlining in the boot area came down i had to use the car in all that bad weather we had change of temperature did it i think. I then got around to changing the water pump as some of you know it used to get very hot when driving, i managed to get an uprated water pump from a 1.9TDI through my mate at JCB VW which was refurbish for 60 I now have an agreed value of 3000 on a classic policy for 185 I have also had my original dealer plates re made by a nice guy called Dave over at http://www.dmb.uk.com/ i gave him what pictures i had of the old plates and he remade them also did my tax disc holder and did a dealer rear window decal which looks really good. A few pics New Plates From shows i have been to Stonor Park 2014 My Local Village Classic Car Show Took this with my 1974 Zenit SLR gives it a retro look And Some insurance photos from May Feel free to comment as always
Just re-read the whole 10 pages. Lovely car & great touches with the ''new'' orginal plates, sticker & tax disc.
they've moved around a bit but apparently still trading http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/michael-moore-(automobiles)
Very nice car, love the BBS body kit I always used to admire the 80's body kits in the Haynes Improve and Modify Golf & Jetta. And it is handy to know about the plates and stickers, I wonder if he can replicate my 'Scotts of Sloane Square', number plate, window sticker and complicated tax disc holder?
