oof you git i was watching that box on ebay

for the reverse light I saw on edition someone used early 020 switch with spades and slightly bent them out the way. not my idea of a perfect solution but it'll work I suppose

Its pretty tight, but there is room to make a bracket at the end of the gearbox support arm to secure the cable and still miss the switch.

Will be welding it up tonight.....

Probably easier to obtain the parts, but tbh, i dont want the hassle of changing the pedal box.

If i can keep things more "bolt on" as possible, that will work for me ;)

    Sorry R.J.

It was a good buy and i couldn't resist it. Ive bought another ABF box to, only for the drive cups, so that might be up for sale soon.

Cheers for the info on the light switch, sounds like an idea. :)

I just need to find all the seat cable stuff now. Should be fun!

Also, can you see anything missing from my box that should be there ? I know the support and rear bracket are missing, anything else ?

    Pic -

How did I not see this link. Cheers pal

Well I collected another CDA gearbox today. It's complete with the cups which is great.
I'm thinking of just fitting this one now, as I've heard the removal of the cups is a complete nightmare.

    Is it hard ???

Also, the two boxes have different codes after the CDA. Does anyone know why this is, just out of interest. I know the ratios are the same.

    Here are the two -

Rich, that is listed as "plastic retainer for clutch cable"

I don't have that on mine, looks like a guide, maybe it goes on a SEAT bulkhead?

yah the gearbox mount is basically same 020 and 02a.

that part is shown only for Ibiza-type cars, so not required for mk2 (Toledo doesnt use it so mk2 wont either)

    Hi

When you were running the 020 box, what clutch did you use?
