    a cast alloy exhasut manifold??


    are you sure, sounds like they've given you the price for the inlet manifold?

    Second hand one is by far the best way to go. Cheaper, Quicker and would be a better job in the end. Are you sure that the crack is gone right through??? Could it be a small flaw in the casting??? If it was gone through, would it not be running like *****. If it's not gone right through, an epoxy resin would most probably do the job if applied properly.

    Wat type of epoxy resin? Where from? my car still runs like a dream, it doesn lag performance or nuffink

    Something like Belzona or 'Chemical Metal' You could pick it up in an engineering supplies or good hardware shop. Mustn't be gone through if still running 'like a dream':lol:

    ok chaps i tried getting u pics of it but its jus really cloudy now and it seems to have disappeared with the light, but answer me this why is there oil sitting on where i think the crack is?
