Only roads I go fast on are National Speed Limit A and B roads.
Over 30 in a 30 is just silly.

    Honestly, I have to. ;)

Local scamera's are set to go off @ 34mph (mate got done about 3 years ago) & I pass at least 3 each day. By setting the cruise @ bang on 30mph, I know I'll keep a clean licence & conscience.
    A friends daughter got ploughed down by a t**t doing 42mph in a 30mph. She's now in a wheel chair. [:x]

    FFS!

Will you all get off your high horses and come down into the efin real world.

Now yes there are laws of the road and they will always be broken, thats a fact of life.

Nobody is a saint andwe all do something wrong once in a while, even you Jon TDI. I mean everyone has broken the speed limit at some pointand will stilldo in years to come, but there is nothing that youor anyone else can do about it.

Now 3x over the speed limit is a bit much and stupid but people do it. Christ, i've beendone for speeding (58 in a 50) but we all have to just live with it and accept that it is going to happen.

    Case closed!!!

I would`nt class racing at 100mph in built up areas as speeding  yes we all speed but that is sheer stupidity

Lots of back/country roads round here are 30 limits, there's no way you'll catch me sticking to it there! In a town on the other hand, through traffic or whatever, you'll more likely find me doing 25ish...

I can't believe some people seem to equate this with doing 40mph in a 30 zone. [xx(]

Don't see how that can be classed as real world either FFS!

Are you saying that you see someone doing 100mph in a 30 everyday!? Don't see this as being on High Horse, more like trying to maintain a positive image for the club and not to condone stupidity to the younger drivers who are looking to buy GTI's etc.

[:s] Did nobody clock the fact that the 911 had a tow rope hanging off the back of it with this odd two toned mk2 attached..........

How many 30 mph zones can you even in a 911 turbo get up to 100 mph before you have to slow down again never mind race?? This is real traffic light Grand Prix stuff  My willie is bigger than your one... [xx(]

I'm not hiding the fact I break the speed limit once in a while, but in a 30, I DO 30. And that's the topic of this thread.

Seeing a 7 year old girl laying in hospital, & subsequently being told that it's unlikely she'll walk as a result of some stupid idiot who thought it would good to "race" another equally stupid idiot, kinda brings it home.

I could argue my point until I'm blue in the face, but I can't prove anything on a forum.
It's all down to discipline, routine & maturity. Sounds like a lot of you don't have any of that.

    Rant over!

    FFS This discussion still happening!

In my view there isnt really a place for this discussion! Looks $hit for the club and anybody with half a brain would agree that 100 in a 30 is stupid.

    END OF DISCUSSION

to be honest you lot are all stupid, at the end of the day speeding is speeding , you call rich an idiot etc for it but EVERYONE here goes fast, as somone said they go for it down a roads and country lanes , country lanes are by far the most dangerous roads out there and you lot go 100+ down those!!!! so think about yourselfs before slating other people first! 100 in 30s at 3am isnt the worst crime in the world! do you think he would be doing stuff like that during the day when people are walking round etc???

Who gets hurt more - a 7 year-old girl who gets hit by a car doing 42 or a
    7 year-old girl who doesn't get hit by a car doing 100mph? [:s]
