    Hi all,

Looking to get an autocavan pedal box for my mk1, I can't get hold of the person who used to sell them. Any ideas where I could buy one?

    Thanks,

    Same person.

I'm just in the process of finalising some forum advertising with the guys that make them, and mickey marrows is aware of the situ. Stay tuned.

I bought one off Martin last year, they are superbly made and the fit is spot on.
He also does one with a hydraulic clutch as well.

    I just pm'd him on Edition 38.

This might be a silly question, but is the main reason for these to allow the removal of the Mk1 brake linkage from the bulkhead, meaning you get more powerful braking? And is there no need for a servo? Why are there 3 master cylinders?

The reason I ask is that I'm currently rebuilding my Mk1 G60, and have just sprayed the bay, and about to clean up and refit all the linkage and servo, as well as re-line the whole car with new brake lines.

    Thanks.
    Matt.

cleans up the bay, not sure if it does give more powerful breaking. certainly a solid feel

three MC, one for clutch, two for the brakes, one front one rear.

The purpose of them is to make the braking adjustable front/rear - for competition cars.

They require more effort to use them.
