^^ because you have loads of control over a cab thats chassis twists so much you check your blind spot and see the back of your car!!!

lol wasn't the point of this thread about a mk3 being surprisingly heavy? Heavy and ugly!! :p

And I agree with some things posted i.e if a car needs modding to make it look/be good, then it's not right to begin with. obviously there will be some things people want to change for taste, smoked lights, wheels etc.

And anyways, all remember that the mk3 wouldn't be around today if we didn't start from mk1!

    ergo - mk1, mk2>mk3, 4 and 5:lol: [:*:]

I would have kept the interior panels black, not diggin the silver IMO... Gotta love that Audi shifter though.

I think the Mk3 has the best looks all around. The Interior is pretty kick ass as well. When my car is clean, I can still have a good drive through Bel Air or BH and the beach and feel like I'm not going to be judged by locals. It's a very nice ride. I have Mk4 and 5ers asking me "what year?"

Modifications are fine as long as you follow a common sense guideline of rules and you don't go away from the original design. Well... Okay, I've said mine, whatever...

:lol::lol:Actually, no. It acts as a handle for your rollerblading friends when they need a fast pull to the gay bar.

I wouldn't have added one of those myself. At least his spoiler is GTI specific. Once in a while, you'll see a Mk1 or Mk2 golf with one of these. I call them "shopping carts"[:D]
