    Hello,

Just another fellow nova owner here to cause trouble.. not really!

We're not all chavs, I do my best to try and encourage the younger owners that subtle is the way forward, some listen, some don't! There's not much more that can be done about it! I have quite a few friends who are dubbers, majority of them Golfs, its where most of my styling ideas come from to be honest. (Although one chap has decided to stick a motorbike can as his exhaust on his mk1.. arghhh!!)

Nice site you have here, and quite a few good looking cars! :)

Well here's my Calibra Turbo powered Nova, not sure what your opinions will be on but hey ho, I think its pretty non chav!

The pics are pretty hi res so I have linked them..

    Hello and welcome!
Sadly, your pics don't seem to work[:s] EDIT: they do now! Weird...

That's lovely! I like that! Only thing I'd change is the number plate typeface for something more 'normal'. Love the wheels

    [xx(] [xx(] [:^(] Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
    Oh, the humanity

I used to have a Nova back in 1996. It was the newest car I ever had, only 6 years old. It was a 1.3 SR and it was great fun! It was way before the word "chav" was invented, but it was also before they became affordable to the boy racers. It was totally stanard and was a good laugh. I sold it after 9 months thouh as I was stiched up on the finance agreement and I was bored with it... :) Got an xr3I cabriolet after that... [:$]

Show us some pics when you have got it prepped for some action GT-dub!

Almost swapped my GTI for a VAG Orange Nova GTE with leather.

Then a month later I lunched the clutch... [xx(]

Within the week it was sold. (sniff [8(] )

    Mah, it had problems...

    Me for a start. ;) [:$]

I did have a nova myself, ended up owning it as a daliy driver for 7-8 Years [:$]

Just so simple, went though many stages, ended up being one of the most asked about cars I owned in my area

young(ish) male : That yours, so nice/smart, you selling it??

Me: No, why would you want that pile of rusting crap

    Youth : [:s] [:x]

nothing special painted matt racing red, highered, 14" early GTE wheels (painted white [:$]), big tyres, rear tinted windows.

Thing just kept rusting [:^(] , but cost nothing to run in juice!

they are phase 1 ronal turbos if im not mistaken on the red one? that green one in the snow was nice. i tell you what though i have never been so scared in my life (and i stuck my car i na hedge the other day! that was scary!) as when i was in my brothers old nova, doing about70 and it felt like chunks of it were ready to fall off! 3 days later the oil buzzer/pressure thing failed to regsiter no oil and it seized up about 50 yards from twiggworth crappy! (how convenient! LOL!)

i used to own a nova, hated it so much i sold it after 2 months of driving it, and bought a 1300 mk2 golf

nova was a g reg, still the newest car i've had, every car has been older than the last  but i fully understand the sleeper logic behind making a car, i mean i've got a mk1 fiesta, and i've got a 1.8 zetec waiting to be stripped rebuilt and put in mine, all i need is a spare week or 2 to strip it down fully

Think about it first and what the car is being used for. The cost of panel's for the mk1 golf are stupid in comparison to the nova. Again, Stuff the image etc... It's all been said before.
