its quite depressing really.... for some people like me, buying a car is a lot of money and a big commitment. i think back to when i brought mine, and i knew absoutely nothing about cars... I could quite easily of been tricked into paying for something that is misrepresented.

    shame really.

to be honest... its rather obvious he uses the forum as to get the stuff about the schrick inlet cam and head he must have been reading essthress posts... not exactly well know knowledge

and essthrees does make close to 200 bhp with his spec!

EDIT: oops.. theres the man himself

That's open to interpretation / dyno lottery.

It now makes 196 BHP on the same dyno it made 151 BHP standard...and the same one that tested my standard S3 at 208 BHP and standard 911 at 316 BHP.

There's a lot of losses on my set up due to lots of camber and toe out, along with big brakes rubbing slightly.

Does it make 196 BHP on every dyno?
    Who cares...

It makes 140+ ATW on the same dyno as it make around 110 ATW when standard...good enough for me (just now).

WTF! Guys, this indeed was my old valver, but these graphs were NOT supplied by
me. These were the graphs that were forwarded to me by the previous owner. I would also like to apologize to ess_three on behalf of the dimwit previous owner seeing as I was the last owner. I would never do this to anyone, especially a fellow member, as I wouldn't like someone to take credit for my efforts on it pride and joy.

he's not denying he sold it on pistonheads, just that the previous owner supplied the dyno plots, and therefore, that'd make humm22a the mug first time round, or am I missing something in the 2nd advert?

Chris, wasn't there an advert without Ess Three's details blanked?

Did you save that/have a name attached?

The Pistonheads advert had the details blanked off all along.

    I find this rather coincidental:

Why no mention it had 197bhp when offered a swap for a Honda?

but it was advertised once before, but without any of the "engine work" advertised, then a while later its up for more and the "previous owner" did a load of engine work etc

either way, who ever bought it has been mugged and the seller is making an idiot of himself

from what ive seen, id go as far as to say lying scum

    well found chris.

that fact that he asked about a 268 inlet cam and polished head like essthree's means he's clearly read his posts/thread and knows his car has not had this work done... or even a remap for that matter.

what are the chances of the previous owner coming along and magically saying that this exact mod had already been done! wow!

hasn't got a leg to stand on

guilty as charged in my opinion

I have told the truth. Whether you want to believe it or not is entirely up to you. And as for it being written off, your wrong as I was looking for panels of my old mk3, which is also blue and STILL sitting in my drive.

Your stories don't add up with the history of what you've posted. The previous owner must be on here too, to have grabbed those dyno prints, so let's have his name, if your story is real. You claim the previous owner told you the work was done, but you were on here posting that you were thinking of doing it.

Conclusion: You're full of it, you've been caught, and you're wriggling on the hook.
