    10/40 should be fine unless it's pretty shagged already

    Recardo,

    If you are about on Friday night, come by and well do it on the ramp! Much easier!

    El's

    [PS ... still up for a beer on Friday night? Russell said he would be up for it too! Anyone else in the Kingston area wanna come out on Friday?]

    because its faster for me to post a message and keep getting a response and step by step guide (50 odd replies) than it is to search somewhere for a how 2 guide

    i cant be assed to do it any other way :)

    also posting helps hear different views. for example in this thread some people are saying 10 40 some 15 40

    you dont get that from just reading a how 2

    i could go on....you know like the fact the chat section helps you to meet people. i sometimes enjoy it. its funny to read. :)

    i was the same Rich, with the oil, never done mself, did it about 4 weeks with "The Pig's" help and i recon i could do it easily myself now.....

    Just get that thing from halfords i explained about above, that was properly the thing stopping me, where to put the oil tbh! but that tub with caps on it is the ideal solution!

    @Funkyfin:

    Hehe, I agree the tubs work great - until the oil comes out of engine faster than it goes through the small hole in the top or you get an air lock...cue much frantic scrabbling to find ANYTHING to stop the oil running onto my folks' garage floor...

    I don't do it on MY drive for this very reason. Now that's what I call thinking ahead. ;)

    Do it over a drain in the street - problem solved!
    And the plastic bag over the filter one is an essential, unless you want scalding hot oil dripping down your arm.......

    We have oil, just weigh in BIG IAN for the oil [which won't be much] and you can use his ... unless you've bought some already?

    I hope you didn't mind me giving Russ your number, funnily enough I asked him for your number when I was trying to contact you! Ended up giving him yours! ;)
