Hi everyone thanks for your supportive comments gald to see my work is
being appreciated. Tub just told me about this post and i thought i'd
join and keep you all updated. So like where do i start? Well obviously
a few have you have had a look through my pix and seen what i have done
    so far.

Shell completely stripped, seam welded, sparco 23 point cage, several
strengthening plates as per the Abarth ones that were fitted to the
original Gp A cars. The whole underneath treated with POR15 anti rust
paint and re stonechipped and painted, engine bay and inside painted,
front and rear bumpers both painted and finished. All suspension
components are cleaned and restored to as new.

Alas last week i found out i have to fit a bias pedal box and weld a
mounting plate into the bulkhead so i have to respray the bulkhead
again both sides. I obtained a Wilwood 3 cyl 2 pedal bias pedal box and
have just spent the last 3 evenings fitting this and have just got back
from the workshop after re priming the bulkhead will be popping back in
a few hours to put some paint on.

Ok i will let you know the spec i intend, now building this car is me
following a lifetime ambition ( a dream of mine ) I dont intend being
truly at the edge competitively any competitions entered will be just
for pure fun. The cost does not matter, it will be done when its done.

Paint scheme - I am painting the base graphix similar to this in base
coat and laquering over them, i will have my own sponsor logos etc.
Anyone out there wanna make a donation towards the cost of the engine
they are welcome to put graphix on the car.

Wheels - Thanks to Compomotive who have given me motosport support i will be running on the new MO six spoke wheels.

Last week the rear tie rods arrived from the states they are 30mm
cromoly tube fitted with 3/4 " rose joints (sorry about the quality of
    the pic).

I have a few pix in the directory on my webspace, hydraullic handbrake,
strut braces, diff braces, pedal box etc ill refrain from making this
post too large and let you all look there if you are interested.

Engine will be built by Guy Croft race engines to Group B spec costing
around 6500 for just the short motor alone. Too many things to list in
a post maybe i should put a website up.

Engine management will be the Autronic SM4 to be mapped on the dyno at
MA Developments, I was considdering running Anti lag but am a bit
unsure because of the turbo i have selected to run.

Turbo - GT30R Pure 0.82 AR ported supplied by AET Turbos who incidently are also one of my sponsors.

Hopefully, speaking to Mark at MA Developments, he says i should be
capable of running up to 520bhp with up to 500ftlb torque. God knows
how the transmission is going to cope but i have a few things up my
    sleve in that dept.

    Brakes - Alcon

Front 6 pots on 355mm discs

Rear 4 pots on 314mm discs

    Suspension - leda coil overs

Fuel system - ATL bag tank running twin bosch 044 pumps

Passenger underwear by Huggies - lol

Hopefully in the next 3 to 4 weeks the shell will be in paint so i will have some eyecandy for you all.

    Speak to you all soon.

shouldn't those top links have a diagnal? is the bottom wishbone super beefy? looks like there is nothing to stop it diamonding?

Those are bottom links mate the unit in the pic is upside down, they are held in place by a shocker at the
top and a poly bushed trailing arm, they will not move nor diamond.
