Today i'v finalised the fitment of manifold, downpipe and screemer pipe, took it all off and welded all joints

Decided to go for side exit screemer pipe for now, if it proves far to loud i have room to add small silencer

Screemer pipe is made of 3 parts, with 2 clamp style joints for easy removal, also flexy added

Flexy added to downpipe as well

Manifold ports cleaned up from slight imperfections which occured during welding

    The whole lot together

Welds are not preety but are very strong which i think is more important and besides i can grind them down prior to wrapping so they wont be seen anyway

    Final fitment tomorrow :)

Today i had some time to temporarily plumb in everything and start engine to check for anu leaks, cracks etc

Waiting for delivery of various silicone elbows etc for boost hoses so temp set up didi the job today

Happy to report all is well, no leaks of oil or coolant :)

Space is at premium, few bolts were bit awkward to get to but all fits well without any conntact with bulkhead or surounding accessories

Temp boost hoses etc just to get the engine going

    Engine running :)

Now i know all is well, once boost pipes and intake properly installed i will drive the car to make sure nothing will crack/leak. Obviously will need to keep an eye on AFR-s and boost as its going to need recalibrating. Once satisfied all will be removed for heat wrapping, reinstalling the lot and then mapping

Clutch also feels nice, light and very sharp, also engine spins up very quick as the new flywheel weighs eff all

Thats a work of art !

Do these tubular manifolds have issues with cracking ? I`ve read a few people mention they`ve had issues with cast turbo manifolds cracking in members threads thats all ? [:s]

Had cpl of issues on monday which delayed mapping. First had a coolant hose pop off on dyno at full chat due to me forgeting to put clip on it

Then turbo worked its 4 mounting bolts and nuts loose, again my error as iv used wrong nuts so it spat gasket out

Left car with Wayne but due to his busy schedule mapping whole host of race cars before various seasons kick off he hasnt really had time to jump back on mine

So its just waiting game now

Got a cool video of manifold glowing tho and hose coming off, i s*it my self!
