    No problem,

The Ibiza's with manual rack's from 1993 up to some point in 2002 have the same rack as mk3 (18 spline, with the 2 peice UJ), which I presume is all the mk2's?, my etka doesnt list mk1's (pre VAG ownership?) and all mk3's have power steering as far as i can see.

It's a GB list but it still needs someone to push it forward :)

Ballpark, same as the Mk1 racks, but all depends on numbers as usual.

I would be keen to push this forward my MK2 will be ready soon, I dont mind doing the leg work to get this sorted, but I need the rack within 2 months or I will go for a PAS rack. Im not fussed what spline I will just go with the majority. What does every one else want?
    Regards Ray

You can cross 486MPO off, he's no longer got his Mk2. I'm out as well due to funds right now.

What ratio racks are they looking to build (turns lock to lock?)

I'm looking at doing a PAS rack conversion to run non PAS. So it would have to be shorter than this for me to be interested.

    Thanks

How much turns lock to lock?

I would be interested, too. But then it has to be shipped to Germany! ;)

BTW: Does it make a difference if the rack is for rhd or lhd?

Quaife already do a LHD quick rack.
I think this is for them to make a run of RHD racks if they get enough interest.

Sorry for that, I wasn't aware that they still provide it. Does anyone know if it is the 40 or 18 teeth version?
