    Hopefully this might be a possibility. I have added a few basic additions to the car with a similar take on the real regulations and keeping much of the car standard.

    Championship car spec
    (Class D 300)

    Engine and Power:

    * Street Air Filter
    * Street Ignition
    * Race Exhaust
    * Sport Oil and Cooling

    Platform and Handling:

    * Street Brakes
    * Race Springs and Dampers
    * Full Rollcage
    * Race Weight Reduction
    * Sport Clutch

    Tyres and Rims:

    * Sport Tyre Compound
    ** Rims 'free' (Note: not to exceed class D 300)

    The car should come to - 168bhp, 145lb/ft, *2122lbs (* dependant on rim selection).

    To keep a fair and level playing field and to not bring in any variables, No adjustments/tweeks to any settings are allowed.

    Vehicle livery:

    I think all cars should share a basic uniform look of which, I have devised a plan and guide.

    It is probably best to add your own designs first to the body before adding the following championship decals.

    (X and Y figures all given from Left Side View)

    Forum Username

    Font - Free
    Size: Y 0.10 X 0.10
    Move - Text to be positioned at a height of Y 13.00 and to be placed within the width of the rear quarter windows.

    Note: Sadly copying from one side to the other reverses the text, so a bit more work involved.

    Number Squares

    Shape: Primitives no.22
    Colour: Black
    Size: Y 0.60 X 0.60
    Move: Y -13.50 X 13.50

    Second layer:

    Shape: Primitives no.22
    Colour: White
    Size: Y 0.55 X 0.55
    Move: Y -13.50 X 13.50

    'Championship Number' - Font and Size 'free' within the space provided.

    Minimum Sponsor Decals
    (reverse the '-' X figure for RHS location, i.e. X -13.50 on the LHS becomes X 13.50 on the RHS)

    Bilstein x2.
    Size: Y 0.16 X 0.16
    Front wing: Y 0.00 X -232.00
    Rear wing: Y 0.00 X 260.00

    Bridgestone.
    Size: Y 0.30 X 0.30
    Move: Y 12.50 X -13.50

    Rear of vehicle.
    Castrol.
    Size: Y 0.40 X 0.40
    Move: Y 10.00 X 0.00

    This pretty much covers the basic plan, specification and look of the cars.

    Races

    First port of call would be Silverstone GP and an 8 lap race!
    *Date and Time to be arranged.

    Possibilities

    * Some form of actual league table
    * Double header events
    * Reverse grids for double header events (3 minute window for repositioning on grid / or 1 warmup lap and forming on the grid correctly)
    * Qualifying

    Any thoughts, ideas, contributions (...or stoning) add away...

    It is probably a bit too anal but just an idea I had with time on my hands :lol:.

    The one I have can be found on the Storefront within the Forza game.

    Storefront > buy vinyl groups > select 'manual keyword' using the 'X' button and type in 'clubgtilogo3' > purchase

    When applying a new decal to the car, select a new layer and select the 'group vinyl' option, this is where you will find group vinyls that you have purchased.

    Yeah a Sunday night would be the most ideal I reckon, probably before/after Top Gear or something as hopefully most people might be around at that time.

    Car design/livery is free, you can put on, add on what you wish! The guide above should be put on top, just to give it that bit more of a motorsport feel.

    This sounds like a great idea, count me in. [:D]

    After Top Gear is a good shout, most of us will already be infront of the TV. I'll need to add a few ppl to join the party but my ID is dam395.

    can i revert the car back to standard and still keep the upgrades? as my mk2 is currently running 4x4 and has an R32 lump in it - pretty sure this would fail on the regs? :lol:

    I didn't realise it was the last Top Gear episode last night but perhaps still a possibility to fill the space where Top Gear was with the racing...?

    You can revert back to standard without it costing anything but then you will still have to add/buy the parts listed at the top in the 'regs', as they are not the top spec components but more the sport/middle of the road upgrades. A new Mk2 is only 5,000. I think I'm on my 3rd. (4 Mk1's as well :lol: )

    I'm up for that but if we use mk2's we should all run 16v front wheel drive as Dclass is not all that fast keep it as close as poss? maby force manual gears? in car view?

    i could also edit my designor do a new one send it to every one with allocated numbers names? for people not fans ofthe paint shop

    few pics of my motorsport mk2

    A Mk2 with the spec above isn't too shabby... obviously not electric but if you have the numbers/competitors in a race, standard diff, no TCS and with similar experience, it will be difficult to shake people off.

    Or we could see how the above works out, as a base and make amendments from there.

    Also, I know that gamertags are scattered around a little, if people are interested in this little championship of sorts and reading this, I will add a 'competitors' list at the top so if people are adding each other, we'll all know who is who.

    If people want a specific 'race number', I'll add this to the info.

    Something like:

    Username - Gamertag - race number
    mk1 driver - holster2 - 22
