Forza 3 - Golf GTI Championship

I ran the car through the Tuning calculator here which shows the suspension settings are too stiff. It was a bit more predictable with the softer settings, but only adding 225 rear tyres made the over steer manageable.

This takes the car to 309 though with the tyres & adjustable race anti roll bars. I can put it up as a storefront tune later if anyone wants to compare it. The only problem is wheels are part of the tune.

These are all straight swaps pound for pound and also are the lightest to stay within the D300 for the original tune spec.

Im going to be on this sunday, my brother will be to, i think the idea of the racing was to leave the cars without any tunning setups, but if enough people want to tune the setups to their style of driving then it might be the way to go.

We need to speak to mk1 driver who is running this show. i am happy with the setup personally as it makes it a very fair playing feild.

 

It's very tricky to drive without adjustment I just thought it would make the racing a bit closer if the handling was a bit more predictable like the stock handling. Anyway the tune is uploaded now, 0CR searchable via the text CG001.

Its died a death though unfortunately. Lots of interest, but not enough people online at the same time. A week night would suit me better personally.

 

i dont mind adjustments being made. as long as all the mods listed are the same. yea nobody seems to be online sunday at 9!! that time suits me well, my problem with weekdays is shiftwork, i could only do every other week, and thats if im not busy on that night.

i have yet to get to race online [:^(]

the only time i could get to the tv on a sunday night i could not connect
i have since found out you need to forward some ports on a router to get it to work properly

i have now bought a vga cable for my pc monitor and as soon as i can find a way of getting my headphones to work with the lead i will be available to race almost anytime

Yes i have. Expensive at 400 points though, but couldnt resist. Without doubt one of my favourite circuits of all time. I'll never get online on a Sunday night though.
