Forza 3 - Golf GTI Championship

I bought an xbox just to play forza when zavvi were knocking em out at silly prices when closing down.

They're nothing come out on the PS3 that compells me to buy one other than GT5 which keeps getting put back.

by which time it'll all be about the PS4!

 

forza lags who ever is hosting they have real problems with it on the forum they are saying it is to do with servers or something but it always lags a bit

ditto. altho i already have a ps3 anyway but no racing game touches forza.

i added a few of you last night hoping you may have been on or at least add me in on sunday! i made my golf and tested it ready to go! only prob is, is there any easier way to write your name down the side than placing each individual letter?

dam i was afraid youd say that!! another hour of my life doing that tonight then!! i only had an hour before going out last night, i thought id have a couple of races, ended up just doing the decals on this golf!!!

 

I might have to go out and buy a cheap 360 and a copy of forza. You can just use a standard silver membership to get online can't you?

 

yes, firstly it only comes up buy gold membership and the different ways of doing it (monthly quarterly yearly) but theres a tiny box at the bottom that says i dont want gold membership.

i bought mine from asda gold membership which i will never use and have no idea why i bought it or even any online at all!! itll be worth it if i get some forza golf racing in! DO IT

 

Did you get an elite andy? Was looking as ones with wifi. If asda is doing them as well i'll get a discount as well. Woo

 

mines an elite yes, and it was a xmas pressie. i got the gold membership from asda, it was the same price as online anyway tho! game decided its ok to charge 10 more than xbox do!!!

and the elites dont have wifi? the wifi adapters are like 50!! so i thought feck that and hard wired it instead, which means COD on ps3 is now much better!!!

 

Worth checking on that. I'm pretty sure that silver (I.E free) will get you on-line to do a few things, but for on-line gaming you need gold.

 

you do know you need a gold membership to play xboxlive its not free like ps3 it 4.99 i months 14.99 for 3 months or 40.00 for the year

 

i didnt know what the silver memebership was, i didnt look into it tbh. i just payed the 40.

 

i think you can get 12 month gold membership subscription cards from ebay for less than 40 quid
