Causes - well that is pretty clear in my mind - combination of wide wheels, stretched tyres, crap toyo tyres, and stiff suspension and eibach arb's - that and a damp / greasy road

Always kenw the car wasnt set for wet conditions, but didnt expect to be proved this way. [8(]

sorry mate - there's two types of show cars in this world

Money cars that just need an owner with cash

And blood sweat and tears cars like yours. Maybe now you can get a proper one with small bumpers heh?

I'll add my condolences, shame, twas a nice motor.

But at least you and your mates are safe.

I've done it and I know you are going to feel sick for a week everytime it crops up in your mind, and you'll re run the accident over and over again.

Hopefully you'll get the cash and sort out the other one, maybe not to the same extent but definately engine wise etc. Surely you'd get bored otherwise.

I dont actually think having expensive tyres would have helped a great deal - the stretch just maikes them crap in the wet, end of story, and coupled with all the other mods, the car was outstanding in the dry, but i always suffered understeer problems at roundabout int he wet/damp - jus that the oversteer caught me out this time and it was game over. [:^(]

Gonna try sort out some pics tomorrow

Yes Darryn - you free tomorrow, wanna go up n see the wreckage in kinross??? [8(]

Andy, condolences for youre loss [:^(]
Although I never saw your motor in the flesh, your old man showed me all the photos which showed some of the effort you had put into it. Good to hear that you and your mate walked out of it unscaved bar a few aches the next day, like you said car can be replaced
Look forward to seeing you next project, cos we all know you will be doing one!

Give us a shout if you keep the car and have bits available.
