Just an idea from what I've seen on the UK-MKIVS forum, I was wondering if all you gamers (with a PS2 and GT3 of course) would like to do a tournament thread with a leaderboard that I'd keep upto date to see who's the best of the forum . Edited by: Mk1 Driver
Thanks to all the people that posted times for the last track and hope it continues Next Track Will be... Laguna Seca, with the car being chosen by the previous winner > golf1.6cl _____________________________________ RUF 3400s Class - A Laguna Seca Raceway _____________________________________ 1:32.090 ........ Hopefully someone could make this a sticky in the computer section? We would be using the Arcade side of the game in Free Run mode to set times, only using cars already on the game and not off your memory card! I was thinking we could run each track for 2 week periods, so at least you have 2 weekends to make a time if you are busy during the week. (or if people prefer a longer gaming period let me know) I reckon the easiest way to go about track selection is to go from left to right on the Time Trial options (not including oval tracks). Times can be PM'd or just posted on the thread, then i'll put them up on the leaderboard that will appear and stay up at the top of this thread. (A picture of the screen that appears when you select 'data logger' will help and guarantee the top spot on the board) Would there be a preference to just using tarmac circuits only, or would you want to use the rally stages as well? After each game period has ended a points table could be drawn up, with the top ten finishes recieving points and the winner choosing which car to use for the next track. If there are two tarmac circuits in a row, the winner of the previous event should choose a car with a different drivetrain. (FF, FR, MR) I hope this sounds like a good idea . James. sounds like a good idea! Actually, thinking about it, no it doesn't. I spend long enough playing that game as it is... Edited by: DarrenW
That is a really good time, just had a wee shot and coludn't get near it! Not telling you my best just yet Don't have time to try more just now, but I'm free all this evening!
Are you all just using the standard controller, I've never been really happy trying to control the car with it the best time I've managed so far is 1.11 something. The official gt3 wheel has been out years now but its never come down in price.
with controllers yeah, i presume people with the wheel have an advantage but have never used one! i think it's best if only controllers are used to keep things fair!
I've never been able to get on with having partial steering lock and always end up applying to much. I'm also at the disadvantage of using a ps1 controller which feels very vague as I can't find the one for the ps2.
I finally managed to find the ps2 controller, as I thought it works alot better than the ps1 controller.
