I thought that seemed too hard, but it costs nothing to experiment with tyre pressures. I usually run 24 front cold 27 rear cold and aim for 30 hot all round , I know a mate who used to run a Clio 172 cup at the 'ring was advided to run 40 psi in front tyres and it did stop the tyres rolling... he was going round in 9mins on road tyres so not slow... Before going to the 'ring the car is being set up by Ian Carvell @ Retro GTI
Bit Marmite, but I think they look wicked! I've had "wasp wheels" Claire thinks they're "stupid" Also had someone ask if I had been wheel clamped, twice!
Makes the car look fresh. Not sure really. Kinda invokes Are those the 205-50-15's? And how you find them on normal road use so far? Thanks. Gurds
Gurds, they are 195/50x15 - very 'square' tyre if you get what I mean? Shoulders are very square compared to 888s, sidewalls very stiff = very harsh ride 'quality'
I've disabled my Facebook account to stop myself ranting at everything that annoys me, it worked as something thats been bothering me has been sorted.
