    Drama queen

Disconnect it , start it again and leave the PC , watch tele, play with yourself or something. Even if the window for the road angel looks like it's frozen, leave it - thats how mine and Darrynk's went last night. It took over an hour to update eventually.

Firewall is disabled - but my router could be mucking it up. In which case i'm screwed, because i cannot alter the settings on it.

    STUPID POS! [:x]

    what router is it?

surely you can go into START > RUN then access router config page?

if not what about plugging in your old adsl modem if you have it?

    or try at a mate's house? :)

You register them online simply fill in the little form on the blackspot site

You'll get an e mail confirmation.

It works straight away but is *out of date* and warns you of this as it powers up.

Then you have to update it by connecting to the PC via USB cable...

Tub, my mate is having the same problem with his RA , left it connected to the PC for 14 hrs and still no update [xx(]

That's why it's called the RA2, cos it's better than the RA(C)

Still not as good as the OriginB2 IMO ;)

someone at work mentioned that the detectors are about to become illegal.

i told him he was talking a load of poo but he insisted that it was going to happen.

true or false? i don't want to get bollo*ked by anyone, just want the truth. lol

RA is not a detector, it's a GPS system ;)

Mine looks like it's finally updating.

It's funny watching the little thing get confused on a new housing estate that wasn't there a few months back!

One problem i have with it - Stoke has more cameras per mile than anywhere else in the country, so it's always beeping!
