So thing about leasing one of these as I don't want to risk buying one lol Performance is very good Has a 7 seat option for the boot , Mrs really likes the idea of 7 seats for family days out for her , sister and the 4 kids I might be allowed along with 7 seats lol What you think folks
Mentioned one of these last night when there was an i8 hybrid at the meet. They're just getting quicker and quicker as the battery/protection technology moves on. Seven seats? Get 'Ludicrous Mode' instead 0-60 in 2.8 seconds
Cracking choice and one of the best hybrids out there. If I was on the market for a hybrid - the Tesla would be top of the list.
It's not a hybrid as has no ic engine Battery only Considering Porsche Cyanne hybrid Would have liked a Q7 etron but they won't be out till next autumn and the tax rules change with regards to BIK and road tax etc for hybrids so looks like Audi have missed the boat yet again Also might take a look at the Lexus hybrid
I think charge point availability/reliability is still a bit of an issue. They had to bring in the company behind Paris's Autolib scheme to sort out London's.
They have a fare few supercharge points Carlisle ,Edinburgh and Glasgow if going north and Bristol Exeter if going southwest 30 mins free supercharge for 200 miles range I don't know how to screen shot with my iPad so I'll just have to post a link lol
There quite an expensive car to buy but I'm going lease it if I go for it If I spec a nice one the payment will be about 850 a month but BIK is 50 not 150 like my A6 and fuel costs are 50 a month not 200 and until April there's a few tax incentives if you plan it right Looks in the flesh are supposed to be not as nice as PR pics but I'm willing to take a chance with a 3 yr lease if it drives ok Performance is wow for a saloon that's not absolutely mental on your pay packet with large BIK costs and depreciation that cost my company and ultimately my pocket anyway . It really bugs that my company has to pay all the costs and then I have to then give the taxman a loud of my pay as well So this car helps me feel better Porsche Cyanne only costs 70 a month BIK but running cost are higher
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-33802344 I would avoid unless you want it ending up in the same place as your patio set lol
It would be a nice car IF it had a big supercharged V8, or am I missing the point? Maybe it could be programmed to play a recording of a proper engine through the stereo? I wouldn't want to go from 0-60 in 2.8 secs in silence
That's what I was thinking, could you imagine that in a pedestrian zone with one of those old folks that think they're on the brake in an auto, but are in full kickdown in panic, absolute carnage
With the radar , ultrasonic and cameras Teslar recon it's impossible to hit a pedestrian I'll try and find the video
Maybe not the best video but ludicrous
Ok that does look like fun lol The company car is an E class hybrid. The initial punch off the line to 20mph is great, However that's all the battery does and then the engine starts and you lose the acceleration. Its funny having 2 rev counters though, I find myself driving slower as I don't want to max out the electric rev counter so the engine starts
