OMG that screen That is THE most horrible dash I have EVER seen on a car, that includes the FSO Polonez.
December early January Driving my Audi doing a few nifty gear changes I thought won't be doing that for much longer I must get my RE 2000 number 2 going ASAP
You need one of these http://www.wired.com/2014/10/envision-solar-ev-charger/ Although it may not be much anywhere north of Birmingham seeing as you guys only get about three hours sunlight per year
The engine of the future ?
Yes with price tag to match and taxman getting wise to Teslas as tax rules changing for EV's over 50,000 Looks like I've lucked out with my time to buy as don't think I'd be able to get one in a couple of years
How about this for a flat floor ? Actually saw my car in the compound at Stockport tonight opening party Took my motor racing mate along with me and one of the Tesla guys asked him what the best car he'd ever driven ? He replied it would have to be the maclaren P1 " OK " said the Tesla guy lol
I had a wander around the Bristol Tesla showroom today & had a play inside, I must say it did seem quite well screwed together for an American car although I'm not at all convinced by the TV screen in the middle of the dash & the absence of a centre console was a bit weird but I'm sure you get used to it, it did look very nice overall though. They also had a "skeleton" in the showroom which was quite interesting, there's actually not much to them under the skin & the chassis looked pretty substantial too.
Might be nipping over to Sheffield to meet Dave and get some bits off him I'll let you know when and maybe call in over the holidays
