My wife told me it was " metallic black silver "
So it's not my fault if it's orange I accept no responsibility

    When's the delivery date?

I'd love to see it. Obviously I'll need to come to you cos you wouldn't make it to Bristol without an overnight stop to recharge it lol

Seriously though I was looking at one in our local showroom last night & it did look damned nice, not dissimilar to a Jag XF.

Good looking car just make sure you fill it up with shell V power 440V rather than the the normal 240V stuff.

Saw one the other day with TE5LA or T35LA as the number plate.

Be great to do a write up of how it is after owning it for a few months.

You need to get to Bristol first, is that one or two recarges from Bolton lol

It was Cribbs Causeway where I was looking at the Teslas actually, they have three demonstrators outside.

Don't know if you can read a map or not but Bolton to Bristol is 150 miles so easy then stop for a shop and have a free full battery to drive home

Thinking of driving to the south of France next year for holiday as can't afford America as I've just agreed to spend all my bonuses on the deposit for the Tesla lol
It ca easily be done and by the end of 2016 I could drive to Moscow for FREE [:D]

So I went to the Knutsford Clubhouse event last night
Showed my mate what I'm so excited about he's a real tech geek , Apple Watch etc and loved the carlol
I'm not a tech geek but love the carlol

So after a presentation and Q&A session with uk head guy we went for a passenger ride in a P85 D with ludicrous mode and wow it really is ridiculously fast :o
The torq is instant and extreme but the all wheel drive just handles it no problem with a little bit of wheel scrabble and your off being thrust into the back of your seat [:D] you can feel your organs moving to the rear of your body it is truly ludicrous :o
I was impressed by the 5.2 0-60 on my test drives but last night was on a whole different level :p
The only down point is no engine noise  the mclaren showroom is 50m up the road and while the Q&A was on the beautiful sound of a reving maclaren went passed ( I'm sure it was on purpose as there was about 20 Teslas in the car park at the back of the showroom which also backs onto maclaren showroom lol)

If any of you folks get th chance you need to get a ride in a tesla model s it's something else and with the P85D with ludicrous it's a 120,000 pound car with the performance of a 300,000 plus car it's incredible

My car has been built and is now in transit from factory in California [:D] delivery due end of December early January but just spoke to my delivery specialist and he's confident car will be here before the end of the year [:D]

Thought I'd share a video of the autopilot option  not spent the 2000 on it but it's just a software update so might be cheaper / free at a later date [:D]

You remember the knight rider episode when hoff is asleep leaning on side window and gets pulled by the fuzz , he pretended he had a ricked neck and was deaf so they wouldn't suspect KITT was driving lol

Freaks me out never mind other people lol
