Just thought i'd start a Thread of basically everything im doing to my car.

I started to tear it apart, the old engine/box/driveshafts/Steering rack is out, along with Sero and Brake lines and discs.

Going to do some rust repair and move the engine mount then am going to put Rust protective paint over it just so it will last, im here at the mo...

Note: most photos will be from iPhone so sorry now in advance...

Getting a Tad confused with gear linkages to be honest...

You will need to replace the gear linkage with the complete 020 type.

You can find these in any big block mk1 golf or scirocco...........or my shed if you get stuck. ;)

probally, will make soem calls. there is a show that sell second hand ones near me well cheap, gonna grab one.

new ones are cheap enough and freshen up the handling.

You can spend some money and get a new rack and have adjustablility both sides rather than the stock one side.
