Someone has been busy then.

I have just wrapped up the metering head to chassis leg brackets and remaining gear stick parts for you. Will post out asap.

Lets get this thing rolling under it's own power soon.

yeah basically thats all it is. if you are unsure of the weght simply clamp metal to the rod with a jubilee clip and try it, play with the weight till you're happy then weld!

It will need adjusted to operate correctly. It only takes a tiny change to the linkage adjustment on the splines to make a big difference.
What gears can you get at the moment. And we like pics too. This may show any potential issues.

Ok, only 1st and 2nd gears sounds like the clamp needs slackened off and the linkage rotated slightly.
If it is going in and out of 1 forward position (1st gear) and one rearward position (2nd gear) then that is good. You only need to adjust the across gate part of the linkage.

have a read of my guide on how to read vw wiring diagrams, that'll make everything much clearer. the vw wiring diagrams are actually very good and easy to read once you figure out what everything on them means, they look more complex than they really are.

the k-jet wiring is a piece o wee anyway, bugger all there! most of the wiring is in the bay anyway, nowhere near the fusebox. just have live feeds for the wur and iav, plus a starter live for the 5th injector thermoswitch. then 5th inj gets a live from starter, and earths to the thermoswitch.
