Sure it will look great when you're done but looks like a hell of a lot of work and it dosen't go any faster! glad I went for the minimalistic look in my mk1

Conversely, I'm no fan of cars without dashes.

My car will always have a dash, even if I make an eggshell lightweight lookalike, as per the WRC cars.

    less is more!

I know what you mean Chris, but the standard design does look quite dated now IMO and obstructs the view if you run the seat low, a bespoke one off dash would look the dogs. Are you getting it flocked Gill?

guess most of you know but the engine went pop chasing a porche around combe :(

got a 6a yesterday and planning to run it std for the rest of the years track days . whilst building another 9a for the bodies . got to get the head looked over by mr shed , and the crank by hotgolf . fingers crossed they will be ok .

stripped all the rubbish off the 6a today , man theres loads of odd audi bits on it . now im left with just the block and head . and need to fit all my bits and a cambelt and tensonior onto it which will not take long at all , and i managed to get a complete cerpintine set up for the other engine and some cool break away loom bits .

What you want is even more spares Martin. Got a great ABF engine and ancillaries sitting in an Ibiza shell.

Really sorry to see it has blown up again. :(
