luke that was going threw my mind all the way up to curby the other day . but its the hastle of getting it all home / storing it . if i had the space i would of had it tbh . as for the time of year it don't really make much odds as its not a show car or anything and i have a engine ready to go in it . and yes combe is hurting that car somewhat lol . but the mk5 loves it round there !
It gets confusing as Im doing a G60 turbo atm, I owned a modded 8v digi that I still talk about like I own it, Iv got another 8v in my cabrio that i got half way throu bike carbing and got bored, plus I started rebuilding a std 8v as I wanted some practice with engines. I talk about the valver the least so ill let you off.

bit of a update . did the cambelt on the 6a and fitted some kr cams . and got round to fitting it in the car today . only a few things left to do and should be driveable with a few hours work . still intend on building another 2l for my throttle bodies but been doing loads of house work so the car has been sat doing nothing for a few weeks . main thing is it will be running very soon .
man that wnet proper boom bet it sounded awful in the car did you do a clarkson amnd pick up all the bits lol id get a spare engine ready just incase sounds like the car gets some proper abuse around the track weird as mine seems to love being abused
