right well ive looked around two scrappies now

ive found out that so many cars have similar sunroof motors as the passat/senater one

basically all of the sunroofs have the same fitting as the seneter one pictured earlier the screws are alot wider apart so you will have to drill to get them to fit but

the later audis have the same fit
    some volvos
    mk3 golfs (i think)
    seat's
    some pugs
    alfa's
    etc etc

buit they are all different in shape and desighn

there is a passat with one ion in the scrappy but i dont know if i lkike the drilling idea so much

    anyway

the audio 100 seems to be one of the only cars with the smaller same fit as the golf so to do no drilling you will have to find one of these

however you should be spoilt for choice if you want to fit the wider size one.

also i think the cover on the audi 100 will fit the golf with a little re trimming not sure tho as i havent put them together yet.

    anyways back hunting for me

I've found out what your switch is off....
A MK1 Cabby with a hydralic roof, I was at the salvage auction today and the roof switch looked exactly the same.

I tried a audi 100 cover but it was the wrong shape I'm sure it was either too short or not wide enough also it is desinged to fit the contours of the Audi roof.

yeah should be, If you could get a wiring diagram for the switch you'll be laughing.

The car was an 89 Clipper, if that helps with getting a wiring diag.

Damo, heres the wiring diagram I promised. Sorry it took so long. Work and all that [:^(]

    Here ya go.

Should be pretty self explanatory. The ones marked "M" go to the motor. The polarity on these switches over as you press the switch back and forth. Just swap 'em over on the motor if it winds the wrong way.

Just realised the green ones are not clear. They are "-12v" or earth, depending on what you call it.
