Just looking at this again as im hopefully gonna finally get my t&s sunroof fitted and get the electric motor in...its been long enough [:$]

One thing im still not sure about is whether i will need a relay in the circuit for the sunroof as im going to be using it with a T&S sunroof instead of the standard slide only Mk2 one.... anyone know for sure??? [:[]

The rover 800 and some disc`s have the same switch as pigbladders i got one to day.Tried it on my leccy windows and it operates them so i guess they are the same switch but with a differant rocker

The round thing is a map reading light and the other switch conveniently switches it on and off.

To resurrect this thread again, I've just received a leccy sunroof motor from VW_Scotty (Cheers dude!)..

Could be making Vdub history here, but I'm going to attempt to graft it into a rocco (I never liked turning handles).

Pigbladder- how close to the roof skin does your motor sit? Reckon mine's gonna be tight[:[]

    Sorry bout the quality: [IMG]

just worried that if I chop away the plate/bit between the sunroof frame and the box at the top of the windscreen, then there's not going to be much rigidity in that area - figure VW put metal there to counteract the force of some fella swinging off the winder handle, which wouldn't be an issue with a motor, as the torque is all contained within the motor assembly, but if I hack it out to find it doesn't fit, I'm scuppered...
