mk2 radio slot gauge holder NEW PICS

    anyone know who makes the plastic insert that clips into the radio slot on a mk2 golf dash to allow 3 dials to be fitted?

    and how much?

    i got the din sized 3 gauge panel from swg...its a nasty piece of sh1t [:x]

    awesome sell em for about 20 maybe theyre better??

    i saw them on ebay and posted on here to get some more info before bidding, didn't want to caught out by paying more on ebay than i could have got them elsewhere

    i'll stay away from an swg one then, will watch the auction and may buy one of those if the price stays realistic.

    got that gauge holoder from ebay, it arrived yesturday,

    it seems to be a quality copy of the zender original, even has zender on the back of it,

    just need to finish wiring in the dials now.

    I have a zender one for my Votex Console. Unfortunately it doesnt fit 100% in the din slot which has caused one of the little securing tabs onthe back to break off..........

    hope i don't get that problem,

    some black silicon may be required......

    I think it could have something to do with the fact that the Votex console din slot is very slightly smaller than the slot in the dash and the gauge holder is not really made for use in a votex console......

    i made my gauge holder very easy cut out the ashtray and fitted them in there. if the pic works have a look! :p

    did something similar in my last car, mdf was trimmed in textured leather and screwed into the center console cubby hole.

    yer i'm watching that to see if i paid too much for mine,

    not too worried though as i only paid a little more than swg apparantly charge for one,

    i'll try to get some pics this weekend,

    i've finished the wiring and they are fitted in the holder but its not clipped into the car yet, just resting in the radio slot.
