BBS RMs with 7" Rears, standard fronts, mirror polished outers, chrome bolts and chrome center cap badges! ;)

Got the wheels and tyres, just need to get some flush fit valves for them!

As far as i know! [:D] The engine was bought by the previous owner as a brand new item from one of the tuners at GTI Inters 2001. God knows what may have been done to it! It fecking flies though.

Really pleased for you, good coversion and quick turnaround, justifies the engine change completely. Soundtrack, flexibility, delivery and power to match. :)

Cheers guys. Thanks for all the comments on the day. Thanks for the borrowed tools and Tris (duffman) helping me fight with my coolant hose that split too, and the guy that donated a bottle of G12+!! :)

Its definitely worth it when you have done as much of the work yourself as i have. Very satisfied with the results.

Got 1 problem to sort now.....the electric water pump isnt working when ignition is switched off, so im going to fit a timed relay to work when it is. Think 1 minute of circulation after the engines cut should do it.

How much do you reckon youve spent all in??
Looking at starting one of my famous 5 yr projects, do a bit now, get bored, leave it to rust a bit, then finish it all off in 2 weeks in about 5 yrs time
