Want a set of 7x15 'motorsport' style wheels for daily use on the mk2, Don't want to follow all the other sheep and get Compomotive MO's, So thought about getting the mega-light Team Dynamics Pro race 1s in black (of course)

E mailed about 5-6 'stockists' of these wheels and the only reply I've had was one guy saying they don't sell Team Dynamics wheels anymore. [xx(]

Rang Wheelmania (Leicester) yesterday as they show them on their website, the guy says they have to order them from the factory, took the details and promised to call me back, did he feck. Rang them at lunch and they were going to get back to me but didn't (again)

Gave them one last chance and rang them, guy apologised for not getting back to me. Turns out Team Dynamics have only got these wheels in white which personally I think will look sh1te on a black car, they've offered to send a set of white wheels back through the plant to be finished in black, but this will take 4 weeks at least!!!!!!

I could of course buy the white ones and get them painted brilliant schwarz at work, but then the warranty will no doubt be void [:s]

Any other suggestions on 15" motorsport stylee wheels for the mk2?

Hmmmmmm...no. I take it you want them in time for the 'ring? If not so urgent, why not wait for them if they're what you want?

I've got my old black wheels which I *could* get re-furbed, but I want new ones:lol:

    O-Z Super leggeras ?
    O-Z Super turismos ?

Speedline wheels are very hard to get hold of, Mate waited 5 months then cancelled the order for his. [xx(]

Super light in 15 inch size, maybe about 6kg each. They had a call back due to design issues but they are now sorted. Just make sure that where ever you get them from has the new version.

Gurds bought speedlines direct from them and got them in a couple of weeks! Blag yourself a discount by talking about how you attend various track events and that you have a race license ;) (hope no one is reading!)

Mate ordered through wheelbase for his Speedline Chronos, as I say they couldn't tell him from one week to another when he'd get them, so he cancelled his order and went Baaaaaaaaaaa! to Compomotive for some Ginger MO's
