They cook their brakes, so it hides the costs of an upgrade.

Going on what I've seen (Ur and S2), 1 example of each has both been weak on brakes.

various brake upgrades available for the s2 most common is the porsche one, also obviously great big power engines easy 300hp without braking the bank, s2 forum is really good, couple of track s2 on there.

hmmm that one maye out of the water then, as porka brakes sounds expensive....

the thing is I keep coming back to Carrados! its a toss up betwen that and mk2 16v, as mk2 16v would be easier, but a Raddo would be a bit more special albe it at a higher cost as by the look of it no one makes a off the shelf bolt in rear / full cage, they are all weld in jobbies..

not driven a raddo yet, I plan on seeing a few when I get back from my works trip to Korea, the big hold up will get getting a cage, if I can find a bolt in cage even if its just a rear cage, job done, raddo it is!

Shame...I'd have thought a DC2 Integra Type R would have been ideal right out of the box.
Still the best car I've ever owned/driven.

Cant really go wrong with a corrado

Much stiffer shell then a mk2 and when stripped out not much heavier but lower centre of gravity

Recently i'v seen a rado shell on e-bay with PROPER custom cages cage fully welded in 12 point job, was awesome, 1600 quid woth of cage!

Shell sold for around 500 and im still kicking my self for not buying it!

And was my favorite rare sunroof less shell

I would personally look for a tatty corrado with tired engine then chuck it out and put abf in it on k-jet

Very easy 170-180 horse project and cheap to

Koni-s, eibach arb-s, poly throughout, 280mm brakes or bigger and job done, proper good handling toy

Karl, if you are knocking round up north you are welcome to come and drive mine to give you an idea

i may get my **** kicked for this, but phase 2 reanualt 19 16v can be had cheaply revvy engine and woulfd fly with all electrics trim stripped out .

They eat track rod ends for some reason but loads of tuning bits still avaidable.

I was waching that aswell and was there at the end of the auction trying to decide if it would be a good idea to bid or not, really regretting it now, fitting cages is hard[8(]
