Anyhoo, shame you got rid of the car it is definatly one of the nicest mk1's I've ever seen and very true to its roots as a'Hot' hatch ! Liked it ever since i saw it in the golf shootout in pvw ! Heres to seeing your next project !!!

Ah the good old days, your Astra must be upto the pace of the old Golf now isnt it ????

 

for power yeah, will never touch a mk1 for weight though.

always sad to see a well known car part company with well known owner, allot of projects being sold off over on my side of the fence too

 

This car is the main reason that actually got me into thinking about stripping a mk1 for track use.....thanx for that .
