mate came in to see me at work (pub) so naturally i give him a pint or 2 or 3 (or 4...)(was there 6hours..) had just finished, on the way back to my house, he gives me a pull on my bike (car broke) coming on to my street (its rediculously bumpy so i couldnt hold on) i tell him to go ahead, at which points he nails it up the street and doesnt stop in time for the end..

hes just launched through the house at the ends front wall, murdered their car and damaged the property... the worst of it, he was aparently 3 1/2 times over the limit, he was due to get his 3 points of his licence in a couple of weeks...

i cannot believe he's just done that! just 100metres away from arriving at my house...

please dont give me any moral speech about how i shouldnt have given him drink or let him drive, i feel guilty as f*ck as it is[8(] [8(] [8(]

    oh my god.

Lol, he's not getting his licence back any time soon! Well at least now you can serve him free pints anyway, in the knowledge that he isn't driving.........

You think thats the important part of this incident?

I cannot believe you were stupid enough to let the dumb **** drive, or even serve him so much drink knowing he was. I wont spare the moral lecture, as he could well have killed several people instead of just trashing a fence, 2 cars and the side of a house.

One less **** on the road as far as im concerned. Roads get safer the more drink drivers are caught doing it.

A Chav'd up Merc 190 and drink driving.

Just what we don't need on the roads.

not sure why you posted this? or what you expected the reaction to be?

you will certainly not get any sympathy on here for his actions. that picture tells a light tale of what could have been.

tbh, i have been out on a night out before, had litterally a couple drinks (like last friday in Worcester) had a couple drinks over the space of 4-5 hours, but i felt completely normal, whether or not it was technically drink driving, i dont know, but i felt fine and obviously got home fine. a small amount of alcohol doesnt turn you into a staggering stumbling idiot, i just wonder what state this guy was in before he got in the car.

if i was stumbling around etc i wouldnt want to go NEAR my car incase of damaging. just amazed that people have such low regard for their cars too, let along the incomprehensible possibility that you may injur an innocent member of the public.

such a bad bad decission. hope he learns

So Jolfa, you don't understand licencing laws in pubs?
You and potentially the landlord could be held partially responsible if you knew he was driving...

    Well done.

Thank god he didnt injure or kill anyone to learn his lesson. (Thats if he's bright enough not to do it again).

Maybe if you work at a pub you shouldnt serve people you know have driven there, and know theyre driving home. Thats not me getting on my high horse, im just saying it would be safer if pub owners did more. You know what i mean?

My mums cousin was killed by a drunk driver who was on the wrong side of the road round a corner.
It was bonfire night years ago, the drunk was a chef who'd been drinking all night in the pub he cooked at. Maybe things would have been different if the staff had stepped in?
