I'd jump start it and drive it straight away... if the cambelt doesn't look too horrible and the engine isn't siezed or anything, take it a lap of the block - it'll get you fired up to actually put it back on the road again... btw, your stepladder is sh*t. hth.
Ahh me likes it! And if you rearrange the number plate, or squint really hard, it could be jinx And yer, your stepladder does appear to be sh*t
One of these would be an ideal replacement. Comes with a bucket hook, too. http://www.ladderstore.com/light-tr...et-hook-free-angle-screwdriver-tool-p-13.html
That's for Matt to hang his bucket of a Mk3 from. I hate ally ladders actually, I'm not scared of heights but I'd far rather have a wooden ladder than an ally one - wooden ones feel more natural. And don't terrify the cat with the noise they make when you put them up or down.
goes to show how much cars shrink when they get older. the 928, a fully blown GT is now the same size (if not smaller) than a roadster. the mk3 took precidence yesterday, i had to sort a shakey idle problem. a bit of greif and some cleaned up earths later and the idle is spot on again
yep, same effect if you park a mk3 passat next to a mk6 (current) one- the new one looks huuuuge! and if you park a mk2 golf next to the current POLO- the polo is bigger!
