Skoda Vrs? your opinions

anyway, back to Skodas

spotted in my local paper - Octavia Vrs with 7k on it - 14 after haggling

ok, so its a skoda, but underneath its all mk5gti

how can vw expect to compete.



If skodas not your bag, how about Seat. The leon FR is some 3k cheaper that mk5 gti, yet with same performance ect

 

Well I just got a 05 plate vrs for 8k with 42 k on clock like see you get a golf for that sort of money

seems to come back to paying for the vag name perhaps

 

It's not a truely direct comparison though, as the handling isn't quite quite in the vRS comapred to the golf (new Octy vRS) from what several magazine have said. Fine if you're after something a bit more mature than a proper hot hatch though.

but if the vrs is good enough for the cops, it wont be far behind most similar powered cars.
