A mate of mine had just fitted his Supersprint exhaust to his E46 M3 CS. I asked him if he had heard it from the outside before. He said no. I then asked if he would like to hear it! I then got the keys As the car goes past it was a flat change from the top of 5th into 6th. 5th is good for 170mph. A bitberger for the 1st person to name the exact location
Yesh. Near the ring. Tbqfh, I cant even remember myself but sure I will have by the time we are all out at the Nurburgring
Yeah, thats the one. Craig PX'ed it with a dealer for his new car and the dealer later told him that this M3 went on to suffer a pretty horific fate on the autobahn! Aparantly new owner fully stripped it and was to be his nurburgring machine and he binned it big time on the autobahn. For an idea of the size of smash, think it was mentioned that the engine was found quite a fair distance down the road from the car. Iirc, the driver walked away and no one was badly hurt. Could have been grim
OMG.... Mind you with Craig driving it round the ring it nearly ended up like a crumpled coke can ...
It does sound great in the woods. That must be a fair old spec of engine and the box is trick too judging by the rev drop with each change. Engine just barks after each change. There is another vid on youtube of the engine but it did not say much about the spec. Hmm, listening to that again has made me need to go and search for more NA action before bed! Edit: Couldn't help myself. Got to love those Italians for the Fiat engine, and the Romans for the straight road.
