I completely agree, V8's just dont seem to sound as good and if Im honest every 4cyl sounds "tinny" to me. V6 hum, V12 wail.

Freshly installed this week, and given a darn good thrashing by yours truly. The bloke in the CLS (who had seriously tailgated the `1.4 Golf Match` all the way towards the tunnel ) was utterly agog! Not that there`s ever any dibble down there...too many posh knobs/footballers in Astons and Ferraris that would take exception (in fact that tunnel is where Ronaldo wrapped up his Ferrari...somehow...it`s practically a straight!) Not a one! He does plan to put a backbox on at least, but if it was me I`d be tempted not to!

Joss Ronchetti's Sunbeam Lotus aka “The Bullet” Bit of a retro classic - a one-page article in Autosport in the last couple of years stuck it on the radar, and the power output is stonking. These Lotus engines (same as the Esprit?) were 2.2 litres orginally. Somehow they've got this out to 2.7 litres with 99mm pistons, and 300 normally aspirated bhp. From last to first here at Thruxton - the driver is on it with some great undercuts and lines to block off the opposition as he chops through the field. He's seems in class of his own to be fair - I've seen it at Brands but not as dominant in the DMN series - but it's a great watch, wringing that engine a treat.
